Share issue & rearrangement of financing
Taaleri Kapitaali acted as the financial advisor for Fintoil Oy in its share issue and restructuring of financing of a total value of EUR 144 million euros in June 2024.
Founded in 2017, Fintoil is a company focusing on the refinement of crude tall oil. The company opened the world's third-largest crude tall oil refinery in Hamina at the end of 2022. The new biorefinery accelerates Finland's efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, as the carbon footprint of CTO derivatives is up to 90 percent smaller than fossil alternatives. With Fintoil's production, carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by up to 400,000 tons per year, which corresponds to about one percent of Finland's net emissions.
